Oxfordshire County Council funds two cuts of the village verges a year, and the Parish Council funds an additional 6 cuts.

Cherwell District Council is responsible for the green space between Pixey Close and Hayday Close, and also for Hayday Close and Cresswell Close.

The Parish Council also cuts the grass at Yarnton Parish Council Cemetery and St. Bartholomew's churchyard.

Yarnton Parish Council is currently investigating opportunities to convert some of the village’s green space into wild flower areas as part of its commitment to tackling the Climate Emergency.
