Environment
Yarnton Parish Council is committed to a greener future.
Our village environment is important to all of us, and the Parish Council actively seeks to improve it to make the village a safe place for residents and wildlife to prosper.
Our environment is wide and varied, and the issues we often encounter range from overhanging trees and hedges, routinely emptying the litter and dog bins and litter picking.
The Parish Council have various environmental initiatives, including the planting of an apple orchard in the centre of the village. We also have ambitions to re-wild appropriate areas with wildflowers to encourage bees, butterflies and other insects.
